Community Engagement Team

What is CET?

The Fargo Police Department’s Community Engagement Team (CET) is part of the Specialized Services Unit within the Neighborhood Services Division, dedicated to fostering relationships and creating meaningful connections between the department and the Fargo community. CET Officers are at the forefront of community-oriented policing, working hand-in-hand with residents, businesses, and organizations to address concerns, promote safety, and improve the quality of life for all. The Community Engagement Team is a critical component of the Fargo Police Department’s commitment to community-oriented policing. By fostering connections and maintaining a visible presence in the community, CET Officers:

  1. Build trust between law enforcement and the public.

  2. Address community-specific concerns in a proactive and collaborative way.

  3. Strengthen the fabric of Fargo’s neighborhoods, ensuring a safer and more connected city.
