Why did you choose a career in policing?
I chose this path because I enjoy helping people through tough situations and finding solutions. I also love problem-solving and the fact that every day in this job is different. It’s fulfilling to serve and make a positive impact on the community.
What’s the best part of working for FPD and in the Fargo community?
The best part is working with a highly motivated team that shares a commitment to making a difference. The sense of purpose and teamwork keeps me energized every day.
What is your favorite Academy/Training memory?
I’ll never forget watching recruits transform from brand-new students into confident police officers. One funny memory from a recent academy was when a couple of recruits accidentally went to a downtown sandwich shop, thinking it was the downtown substation! It’s those lighthearted moments that stick with you.
